Why do some of you on here talk so bad about illegal immigrants i'm an illegal immigrant from belize and if

you met me in the mall you would%26#039;nt even know because i speak proper english and i look like an average black woman. another thing that hurts me is how some folks talk about these poor children born of illegal alien parent%26#039;s like my children who%26#039;s father is a born american citizen and yet that still does%26#039;nt matter because here i am all the way in belize far from my babies whom i love dearly. Another thing is it%26#039;s not that easy to get a green card so dont believe every thing you hear on tv i can%26#039;t get a green card or so they tell me because my children%26#039;s father has been to prison before so now what am i supposed to do i dont want my children to grow up here in belize because they deserve to have a good education and a better life thats there right as a us citizen so can some one come up with any ideas. to all you ignorant people how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot???????

Reply:Attacks on illegal imigration is not a personal attack. There are some immigrants that deserve citizenship, but a majority are doing more harm than good. The one%26#039;s that a majority of the public are concerned with do not deserve it. They break the law and committ violent crimes. The state that I live in, an illegal can cross over from Mexico, keep their Chihuahua plates, keep their Mexico lisence or trade it in and still get isurance for their vehicle. They bring their children over here and do not teach them the English language and so the public schools have to do it for them. My tax dollars go to help the US citizens get their education, not for the illegal to come over and take seats away from our children. We are all penalized, in a way, for what the illegal does.





In Dallas Texas, the school system wanted to make it mandatory for the principals to know Spanish, so that they can communicate with the parents of Mexican children. That is not fair at all. If they want to come live in our country, then they should learn the language that goes with it.

I%26#039;m a firm believer that all races, colors, creeds, and religions are equal and deserve to be treated the same as I do, we%26#039;re all humans. My issue is this...illegal immigrants are putting a strain on the system in this country. If your children were born in Belize the are not American citizens, if you are here illegally then you need to be deported, their are thousand of immigrants sworn in everyday to be American citizens and they did it legally, and they are welcome, but people that come illegally and break our laws are not welcome. The United States can not take in all the worlds poor. Just because you can not get in at your convenience dose not give you the right to break our laws. In the 1930 this country went through a great depression, hundreds of thousands of people were out of work, they were thrown out of their homes and lost jobs they did not have money for anything, they stood in bread and soup lines to just get a little food, they traveled from state to state to try and find work, in the Midwest the farm land dried up causing the dust bowl of the 30%26#039;s. all those people lost their farms and homes they left to try and find work, my point is they did not run to Canada or Mexico to find work, they stayed home and stuck it out, and made this country better, It is not our fault you country will not take care of it%26#039;s people or provide an education for them, it is up to the people to change things.

I am in agreement with many that we must control our borders. It is a national security issue and the drug lords freely pass drugs into the United States.
