About how much money did you spend on your child's 1 birthday??

My husband spent almost $100 on just the dress and the shoes...its really nice but i dont kno.....budget isnt the problem but Im not sure how much is too much...its probably going to be about 20 people

We spent $300 total, including beer and beef for the barbeque. We kept it small - just family. The kids played in the back yard. At one, the party is for you anyway - not the baby. There%26#039;s no practical purpose for blowing a wad on a huge party.

Park Rental - $10


Games/entertainment - $0. (They played on the park equipment.)


Music - $0. (Boombox from home.)


6%26#039; sub, chips, salad, cake, water/soda - $60-$70ish.


Generic primary colored decorations - $10


Gifts - $25.


Guests: about 25-30 (all family %26amp; close family friends).





Total: Less than $150. And she had the time of her life.
