Is this acting resume suitable for a 14 year old looking for an agent?

To start out, I%26#039;m not one of those kids who want to be on Disney Chanel because of what they read in magzines. Honestly if I could chose I would not be on Disney. I need to know if this resume is good for someone looking to start a serious career.

I am an extremely atheletic person, especially in cross-country, track, and ultimate frisbee. Acting is a huge part of my life, and I would love for your agency to represent me in the start of my career. I realize show business is challenging, but I%26#039;m willing to give all I%26#039;ve got into making it happen.

You%26#039;re a good sharp minded kid. Way smarter than ? and most of the others. And for your age that is a very good resume. If an agent likes you and wants you to sign they will tell you how they want it formatted.
Reply:looks like a very good resume.
Reply:The absolute truth is that if you have a certain look that an agency likes, they will call you in. You do not have to be gorgeous, but your photo should really be top-notch and jump out from the page! A resume with credits helps for sure, but it usually just comes down the the look and type that you are. Of course once you get an interview with an agent you will have to prove that you are confident and have talent.
Reply:pretty good
Reply:lol thats way better than mine i guess i found my acting rival and im 15
Reply:that%26#039;s an awesome resume I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll get an agent within a few weeks.
Reply:I dont want to be pessimistic, but they are a million other girls your age, and probably better than acting than you. To tell you the truth, its very difficult to get in the movie industry, unless you have connections, which many movie stars do. To be honest, I do not want to crush your dream, but the odds are very lopsided. Stick to education and school. They might seem boring now, but they will stick with you forever.

I%26#039;ll use myself as an example. I play AAU basketball and have gotten some college%26#039;s attention for my skill. But, I know there is no way I am going to the NBA, because I know there are another couple million kids better than me. That%26#039;s why I focus on my academics more. I mean, if I go to Stanford, (which is my dream because I live maybe 20 miles away from it), I will be able to easily get a job in anything I do. I will be set for life.

Please take this into consideration, or email me if you still do not want to change your thoughts. And also, for acting, you have to go and attend a certain class like John Robert Powers.
