They are not %26quot;insurgents.%26quot; They are dedicated patriots bravely mounting a resistance to an invasion force of carpetbaggers, pirates, thieves, and murderers.
I hope we would have the same dedication and courage to fight for our own homeland if the shoe were on the other foot. And the way Gerorge Wanker Bush has colossally messed up T-he W-ar A-gainst T-error.
O-peration I-raqi L-iberation is not something our children and children%26#039;s will be proud of. True patriots are committed to getting the commander-in-thief out of the Wh**e House before he murders even more GIs and Iraqi civilians.
Are the %26quot;Insurgents%26quot; really Insurgents?
Don%26#039;t you just love the %26quot;My country is always right%26quot; attitude a lot of answerers display? The simplest moral test of all is the test of turning a situation around and asking yourself, if this were happening to me, instead of to them, would I regard it the same, or differently? If you would regard it differently, then you%26#039;re judgment is not a principled judgment, but a self-serving one. Good question, asker. It%26#039;s questions like these that separate the thinkers from the rest of the herd.
Reply:You must get the special channel. But since 90% of them aren%26#039;t even Iraqi%26#039;s I would qualify them as insurgents.
Is it true that you couldn%26#039;t make in the navy or even the air force? tsk tsk tsk
Reply:If the tables were turned, and WE were in Iraq%26#039;s Position, than We would be Patriots.
Reply:I%26#039;m sure they%26#039;re innocent freedom fighters and barbers who simply took a wrong turn in Kandahar.......
Reply:Well....definite I really don%26#039;t agree with current US policy on terrorism....althought the insults are quite overkill and really optional. I only hope Homeland Security doesn%26#039;t track you down (just kidding). :o)
Reply:i agree kill his *** out
Reply:It%26#039;s too bad your somewhat valid criticism is lost inside strident rhetoric and childish sloganeering.
Yes, there are carpetbaggers, thieves, and murderers in Iraq. The most dangerous ones by far are paid, armed, and trucked in from places including Iran and Syria for the express purpose of destabilizing a fledgling democracy that so deeply frightens their dictators back home.
I am not a Bush administration apologist by any means, but only a fool would believe that the insurgents who are currently blowing up anything they can in Iraq, including women and children, actually belong there. The only people in Iraq who I would consider to be dedicated patriots are the fantastically brave souls who risk kidnapping, torture, and death just to join the local police force so they can bring law and order to their neighborhoods. The sinister forces for which you are misguidedly trying to garner sympathy, the ones who wear no uniform, who kidnap, torture, maim, and kill the innocent, are bona fide war criminals who are beneath contempt.
Reply:no, theyre really foreigners that have been brought in to disrupt the political process in Iraq
Reply:They are angels the way they blow up innocent people! That is exactly was patriots do. You are so insightful.
Reply:You%26#039;re not very bright are you?
Reply:First to Joey 120746. As a liberal you must also be a holy ROCK for you are not quite up to snuff on your information. To you my friend, the code for oil is old. If everyone would stop using it, like the Amish, we might be better well off. I see no patriots in Iraq except us. The idea is NOT to fight a war for our country but to try and preserve a NOW fledgling democratic system in the mid-east as well as to stop the%26quot;patriots%26quot; from coming over here and doing what so far has been prevented by our military as well as our security forces. People, get real. You are mainly sitting in the comfort of your homes bitching about something (WAR) in which most of you have no comprehension AT ALL in what it%26#039;s about or what%26#039;s at stake. Christ! Wake up. Do you think the Continental Army or the Union and Confederate forces were the last ones that gave you those comforts. Hell no! It was hundreds of thousands of Americans fighting piracy, Fascism, Nazism, Communism, and %26quot;patriots%26quot; over the centuries that we have become a nation. Most of you have no clue how many times the US was on the brink of nuclear war or the hundreds of little wars our military has fought throughout the world to put out the flames of world destruction. Liberals and anti- war people have a point of view that is worth listening to but not to the point of outright murder of innocents in other parts of the world. Those type of people have killed more civilians throughout the world and its conflicts than any military action has. ***** but don%26#039;t YOU get your hands bloody. Let that up to people like me and thousands of other veterans and active military. You get these %26quot;patriots%26quot; minds thinking that they are doing the right thing and look what happens...Lebanon and Israel! Poor them. At least Israel knows how to fight a war and GOD pity those people and countries that go to war against them for they really don%26#039;t give a damn for the worlds opinion of them or what they do to win which,oh my, is what war is all about! If you really want to start a really good destructive war pull out our troops, reduce our military, and pull the US dollar from the world market as well as all interest we have in any part of the world. READ history and see what will happen both in our country and abroad. Idiots!!!! Love in Christ and I mean that in a good way...............
Reply:My, but you are angry. I agree, but I would try to tone down the rhetoric and more people might listen to you.
Reply:ORRRRR, they are infiltrators from places like Iran and Syria who are trying to murder those who disagree with Saddam and his murdering ways. I agree, Saddam and his sons were so much better for the people of Iraq. I guess you think taking down Hitler was a bad idea, too, and the Nazis were just %26quot;dedicated patriots who bravely mounted a resistance to an invasion force of carpetbaggers, pirate, thieves and murders.%26quot; Can you say %26quot;misinformed, liberal Jacka$$?%26quot;
Reply:Wow... someone forgot to take their Percodan today, huh?
Reply:yeah, and we are angels, too--the way WE blow up innocent people. War is hell, and no one is %26quot;right%26quot;. But we should never have gone to Iraq and started this mess.
P.S. ubathby, where did you get that BS?????
PPS...and here comes mikey again...why do you kooks think that it is some sort of a put-down to call someone a liberal ? I%26#039;m VERY liberal, and I am proud to be; I think it is the %26quot;holy%26quot; way to be. But I don%26#039;t call people conservative as name-calling, only to describe their political stance. And why would you think that the asker would not fight for our country? What we are doing in Iraq has nothing to do with our freedom--that is the garbled rhetoric!!!
Reply:I think insurgents is a recent term, they could also be called freedom fighters, or something like that.
Reply:We are fighting those who need fought, but you are right... on only one point. If some country invaded the US there would be a whole lot of %26quot;insurgents%26quot; running around the hills fighting back and I would probably be one of them. The true problem are the muslim extremists coming in from other countries for the sole purpose of disrupting everything. They are even killing Iraqi civilians. I agree with the war in Iraq and I%26#039;m sorry you are one of the liberals who can%26#039;t see past the nose on your face but still think yourself enlightened. No point arguing further though as you will discount it all with left-wing rhetoric anyway. Try having an original thought or coming up with your own opinion for once.
Joey, I%26#039;m not using the word liberal for name calling, but to show a political stance as you said, its just how it ends up. If you don%26#039;t like it, don%26#039;t promote it. The %26#039;holy%26#039; way to be? What a joke!!!
Reply:Whether someone is an insurgent, freedom fighter, patriot, militant, revolutionary, or terrorist, often depends on which side of the fence you sit on. It%26#039;s also sometimes determined by who wins the war.
If you%26#039;re referring to the US/Iraq situation, the US has made many mistakes and the war may have been illegitimate. It will still help the Iraqi people in the long run if we can stop messing things up.
Murder is a loaded word and should not be used to describe warfare. The only murders in Iraq were the rogue soldiers and prison guards. There are probably far more we don%26#039;t know about than we do. But Bush is not guilty of murder here, just poor leadership, bad decisions, and all kinds of other political evils.
If you think any of this makes the Al Qaida %26quot;foreign fighter%26quot; forces operating in Iraq into anything but terrorists, that%26#039;s wrong. They are among the most sinister, violent, brutal thugs ever to appear in a war zone. Cutting people%26#039;s heads off and blowing up civilian targets is murder, pure and simple, not insurgency or any other legitimate act of resistance.
Reply:I think that your premise is all off. You see, most of the so called insurgents aren%26#039;t even Iraqis. They are terrorists brought in from other middle eastern countries to prevent the Iraqis from forming a stable secular government.
Reply:yeah we invaded iraq for the oil. thats why the price of gasoline has gone up 300% in the last 3 years.
Reply:SIR, you said all that needs to be said and you wrote it very beautifully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:You%26#039;re stupid. Get off your fat a$$ and go to Iraq, serve and then see how quick you are to open your ignorant mouth.
Reply:If they were insurgents they would be fighting the coalition forces instead of planting bombs in markets.
